What is Raise Craze?
Instead of running laps for funds, we are trying something new this year! This unique concept is breaking down the barriers of the traditional fundraiser and putting kindness back into our culture. To learn more about Raise Craze, please click this link and you will be redirected to their main page: https://raisecraze.com/ How is money raised? Students ask for friends and family to donate to Roxborough Primary & Intermediate. Then students pay their kindness forward by completing Acts of Kindness for others: picking up trash, writing thank you letters to First Responders, etc. - no act of kindness is too small. |
|
What % of donations are kept for Roxborough Primary & Intermediate?
At a minimum Roxborough will receive 90% of all donations. This is a fundraiser for our school only.
How are donations collected?
Each child that opts to participate will have a personal donation link so that supporters can make donations in their name.
Where do we sign up?
Register online at https://my.raisecraze.com/ARN51SM/
When is the fun run?
Raise Craze replaces the typical fun run. We are excited to spread kindness and raise funds for our school.
What are we raising the funds for?
Funds raised assist our school to pay for curriculum, teacher training, teacher grants, playground equipment, smart boards, classroom technology, books, art supplies, and much more!
Does my student or class choose what cause/organization the money goes to?
No. All funds raised will go to our school.
How many acts of kindness should my student do?
At least 3. No act of kindness is too small or too big! Our hope is for our students to find out how easy small acts of kindness can transform a school, home and community. Kindness is contagious!
Will students do acts of kindness during school hours, or do we need to do them after school?
There will be 1-2 opportunities in your student's classroom. There is also the Family Kindness Event that takes place on Friday, Sept 20th 4-6pm at the Audubon Center near the Waterton Canyon.
How can I share pictures of students completing acts of kindness in the community?
Email your pictures to [email protected]. Let us know where we can share the pictures: yearbook, social media, school wide slide show.
