FAQ
Who can participate?
All talents and grade levels are welcome to audition.
Who decides which acts that make the show?
We will have a panel of volunteer judges, that are not part of the committee, score each act and select no more than 25 acts for the show. Scores will be based on preparedness, stage presence, talent quality, and appropriateness for elementary school. We would love volunteer judges who have experience in music, theatre, dance, show business, etc. but it is absolutely not necessary! If you are interested in volunteering, please go HERE.
How many acts are allowed to be in the show?
25 acts are allowed in the show. They need to be no more than 2 1/2 minutes long. Students are highly encouraged to form a group act. Groups allow us to let more kids be a part of the show. If individual acts are not selected for the show, students can still be included in a group act.
What kind of acts are in the show?
Singing, dancing, comedy, magic, playing instruments, and gymnastics are just a few of the types of acts we have had in the past. We welcome anything that could be considered a talent and try to create a show lineup with a variety of acts.
I have friends from another school who would like to participate with my RXPI student. Can they be in the show?
Because we usually have to cut acts, we feel it is only fair to only have students from our school fill the spots.
What kind of equipment is available for acts to use?
A keyboard and microphone will be provided for auditions, rehearsal night and the performance night.
