FAQ
Who can participate?
All talents and grade levels are welcome to audition.
How will the talent show work this year with COVID restrictions?
This year's talent show (and auditions) will be entirely virtual. Auditions will be video or photo submissions sent to the PTIC Talent Show email: RXPITalent@gmail.com. Students and parents will be notified via email if they have made it into the show. The Talent Show itself will be a LIVE virtual event on Friday, March 4th at 7:00 pm.
Who decides which acts that make the show?
The PTIC Talent Show Committee will be judging the video submissions.
How many acts are allowed to be in the show?
25 acts are allowed in the show. They need to be no more than 2 minutes long. Because this is a school event, if students perform together, they should maintain social distance and wear face coverings, just as they do in school. The only exception is for members of the same household.
New this year, we're also accepting visual arts such as drawing and painting. We'll accept 10 visual arts entries in this year's show.
What kind of acts are in the show?
Singing, dancing, comedy, magic, playing instruments, and gymnastics are just a few of the types of acts we have had in the past. We welcome anything that could be considered a talent and try to create a show lineup with a variety of acts.
New this year, we're including visual arts as well. We'll showcase paintings, drawings, etc. in this year's show.
I have friends from another school who would like to participate with my RXPI student. Can they be in the show?
Because we usually have to cut acts, we feel it is only fair to only have students from our school fill the spots.
What kind of equipment is available for acts to use?
Due to the virtual setting for this year's show, we will not have any equipment available for students. Please make arrangements for your own equipment and props.
